From September 2017 to July 2018, I interned with the telecommunications company Republic Wireless as a Graphic Design Intern. While I was specifically a GD Intern, I worked as a middle man between the Creative Team and the Member Communications Team, answering to both the Art Director and the Director of Member Engagement. I primarily designed graphics for emails (sent to both members and prospective members), the blog and their community forums, but I also had other interesting opportunities, from designing for print (see below) to designing socks. In my role I became intimately familiar with the Republic Wireless (henceforth referred to as RW) brand, the brand of Relay by Republic (their newest product), the workflow pipeline of a multi-team company,  marketing strategies, working alongside team members in non-creative roles,  and learning how to cope and excel with tight deadlines. All of my designs were subject to the approval of their Art Director.

6 Ways to Get Support infographic
I developed this graphic for use in email and on Republic Wireless' blog. As a company without a 1-800 number, it's vital for Republic Wireless' members to know how they can get the support and answers they need.

Member community: logo and drop-down graphic re-brand
Collaborating with the senior management of the Community team, I created a new identity for their Community blog, a community which has been a driving force for their all-online business model. They partner with longtime customers who become Ambassadors in exchange for a discount, and these partners answer most questions posted in the community. The Ambassadors reacted extremely positively to the new identity in a test trial, so it was put into place on the actual site. The drop down graphic is extended below.

"lifestyle" blog series
For each entry in the blog series, which were featured on PWK, Republic Wireless' blog, I developed a primary icon and  four auxiliary icons. The auxiliary icons were used to create a subtle repeat pattern behind the primary. See one live here.

Streamlined welcome kit
I was heavily involved in the redesign of the welcome packet that guides new members through the process of installing the  app, installing their SIM card and other first time setup activities. This welcome and activation guide ships with every phone ordered from our website.

Pop-up shop phone cards
Republic Wireless opened a "pop-up" retail location in Downtown Raleigh, where customers can purchase phones and receive help setting up their new phones.  The above graphics (pictured with front and back displayed side-by-side) are two examples of the phone cards I developed for each phone we sell, and these were printed and are in use at the "pop-up" shop as a resource for both employees and customers.
